What is the difference between traditional and dynamic HAZOP?

Traditional HAZOP qualitatively examines the deviations & their’s consequences from an operational and safety perspective. On the contrary, dynamic HAZOP, namely PyHAZOP numerically and quantitatively examine the deviations and it’s consequences to accurately identify the risk and optimize the risk reduction if needed.

PyHAZOP bridges the gaps of qualitative HAZOP and precludes the risk of unnecessary cost resultant from PHA qualitative methods.

PyHAZOP quantitatively assess the deviations, it’s initiating causes and consequences numerically to preclude the risk of un-necessary additional safeguard costs.It takes into account vulnerability modelling, modifiers of POI, time at risk and occupancy and all safeguards are identified numerically.
